RRB Junior Engineer Exam 2014 Exam Syllabus & Pattern

Railway Recruitment Board which s commonly pronounced as RRB conducts various written examinations every year. This year RRB will conduct Railway Recruitment Board Junior Engineer Exam 2014 on 14^th December 2014 (Sunday) for the recruitments of Junior Engineer civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Automobile, Printing Press. Electronics, Industrial etc. Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written examination. There is only one stage for the evolution of candidates who had applied i.e. written examination which will be conducted on 14^th December 2014. To perform better in written examination and get good marks, candidates need to prepare according to Railway Recruitment Board Junior Engineer Exam 2014 Syllabus. RRB Chennai Junior Engineer Exam 2014 Pattern-

Railway Recruitment Board Junior Engineer Exam 2014 will contain objective type questions. The question paper will contain 150 objective type questions and time allotted to solve questions is 2 hours. Candidates can check Railway Recruitment Board Junior Engineer Exam 2014 pattern which is mentioned below:-

1. General Ability- 60 questions
2. Reasoning and General Intelligence
3. Arithmetic
4. General Awareness
5. General Science/ Technical Ability – 90 questions

There is Negative marking in the examination. 1/3 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. Candidates are adviced to attempt question paper carefully.

Railway Recruitment Board Chennai Junior Engineer Exam 2014 Syllabus-

Part A – General Ability

1. Reasoning and General Intelligence:-

Number series, Input- Output Coding- Decoding, syllogism, Direct Sense Test, Blood Relations, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification. Arithmetic number series, statement conclusion, word building, seating arrangement and clock.

2. Arithmetic:-

Algebra, Interests, Ratios and proportions, percentage, age problems, mensuration, pipes and cisterns, data interception and time distance.

3. General Awareness:-

Questions will be asked from Rail Budget, Railway, New Technologies in Indian railway, New reforms in Indian Railway, Indian History, geography, sports, current affairs etc.

Part B – General Sciences/ Technical Ability:-

Question in General Sciences/ Technical Ability part in Railway Recruitment Board Chennai Junior Engineer Exam 2014 question paper will be asked basic subjects of branch of candidates. Candidates must have knowledge of basic subjects of his/her branch.
